Polk County Iowa List,
I would like to invite you all to check out the
Charter-Pierce Memorial Internet Genealogical Society and
Library, homepage at:

You will find a recently updated listing of every Town
or City in Iowa under both the Township and County to which it
belongs. Now defunct Towns and Cities are listed also.
You will also find what we call Recent Vitals, which
covers the State of Iowa with many out of state obituaries. You
will also find Marriage Applications, Death Notices, Divorces
and Birth Notices for Polk and surrounding Counties.
An Explaination of the Society, our dues and what you
get by being a member is listed on our page as well. Look us
over and we hope you will decide to join. As a member, you are
entitled to copies of what information we have. You will also
be entitled to research at a very reasonable price by our
members for anywhere in the State of Iowa.
