Greetings List,
I am looking for 2 Martin families that maybe of lived in Ankeny at one
time in the 1920-1930, maybe longer.
One family would be Jacob Rueben Martin family. Most the time he went by
Rueben or J. R. My husband's grandma thought that his wife's name was Ruth
and knows for sure that she was deaf. They may have moved to another area
Altoona or Des Moines.
Rueben had a brother Riley that was thought to have moved at sometime to
Ankeny with his family and his wife's name would have been Irene.
Rueben and Riley had a sister Sarah Alice Knight that lived in Des Moines at
the same time.
