Hi, Yes, there is both a record and a registration. If *completely* filled
out the registration will provide their ages, place of birth, occupation,
parents' names and the signature of at least one of the couple. It will
list the person who married them and the witnesses. Sometimes not all
blanks were filled in and sometimes the answers were not absolutely correct
:(

Our society has the original county record books. We have made indexes for
them through the end of 1920, after that date we must have at least month
and year. Send your request to the Pottawattamie County Genealogical
Society and we will find it for you.
