Hello! I'm a new member of this list and wonder if any of you can
help me find:

Henry O. WELLS, who is said to be on the 1840 Davenport, Scott
Co., IA census.

He may have moved into Scott Co., IA, from Rock Island Co., IL,
where he bought Federal land in 1836.

I have also found an item listed as: Rock Island Co. Probate Court
Case File 1834-99, with the names Charles W. WELLS and Henry
O. WELLS, so Henry may have moved back into Rock Island Co.,
after a stay in Scott Co.

Charles W. WELLS, b. abt 1832, OH/IL, was my gr grandfather,
and I'm trying to determine if Henry O. WELLS may have been his
father. I am especially interested in finding out the names of
Henry's children.

If anyone connects with the above, I would greatly appreciate
hearing from you.
