WOW.. I had most of the names but no dates. My father's sister-in-law had done some family research in the 80's in Germany. She gave me copies, most of which is still in German. I need to brush up from my high school days and translate. Could you please let me know who and what info you have? Also any fees you would need to charge. Thank you for responding so quickly.

According to Scott Co. Grave Records, Davenport, Public Library,
Fairmount Cemetery, Frank JÄGER was born 16 Jul 1867 and died 15 Apr
1895 at Fairmount. [couldn't find a record at Fairmount]

Frank's parents were Joachim JÄGER and Friedericke SALZSIEDER. Joachim
was born in Pommern, Germany [now part of Poland] 27 Mar 1836. He was
naturalized an American Citizen 1 Jun 1882 in Davenport - "a native of
Prussia". He died on 30 Nov 1922 in Davenport and was buried at
Fairmount. He married Friedericke in Germany in 1857. [His death
certificate named his wife, SAULZCEADER - SALZSIEDER or SALTZSIEDER is
the proper spelling.]

Friedericke SALZSIEDER was born in Germany 6 Jan 1838. She died 10 Jul
1904 in Davenport and was buried 13 Jul 1904 at Fairmount. [The
marriage records of Scott County show a marriage of a Joachim JÄGER AND
Fredericka MEYER on 13 Oct 1864. Records clearly indicate that our
Joachim's wife was SALZSIEDER, but Joachim's brother, Christian, Jr.
married a Freda W. MEIER.] Her tombstone at Fairmount states: "Hier
Ruhet Friedericke JAGER, Geb SALSSEIDER, Geb den 6 Jan 1838; Gest den 10
Jul 1904; Ruhe in Frieden, æ 66."

Joachim's obituary named his children: Mrs. M(amie) [JÄGER] KREMHELLER,
John of California, Henry of Canada, and Charles of Des Moines. His
daughter, Emma E. pre-deceased him [March, 1917]. The "20th Century
Directory" appearing in the Davenport Times in 1900 stated that he was a
laborer living at 903 W. 14th Street.

Joachim's father was Christian JÄGER. He was also born in Pommern and
is buried in Oakdale Cemetery in Davenport. Brothers were Carl, born 1
Jul 1840 in Germany and died 11 Mar 1900 in Davenport; and Christian,
Jr., born 9 Oct 1844 in Germany and died 3 Jul 1914 in Davenport.
Carl's wife was Wilhemina, born ca 1842, died Mar 1932, buried
Fairmount. Christian, Jr's wife was Freda Wilhemina MEIER, born 12 Feb
1844 in Preuss, Pommern, Germany [now Poland] and died 3 May 1916 in
Davenport - buried Oakdale.

I have nothing more on Frank, but quite a bit on the other members.
Please contact me if you are interested.
