I made a stop at the Fairmount Cemetery and can see how someone would
describe it as "overlooking" the Miss. It is stunning, heavily wooded.
Began in 1881, is 260 acres and has over 18,000 residents.
The mausoleum sits on a perch halfway up the hill and from there I bet you
can see 10 to 12 miles. The Miss isn't visable but that's only because it's
heavily wooded. I've never seen such a beautiful cemetery-lots of trees and
very well maintained.
