I am searching for information on my Graham family, who were early settlers
of Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Graham left Ireland and went to Washington Co, New
York. They had five sons; one was my GGGrandfather, John Graham. He married
Elizabeth Langley of Union Co., Arkansas. She was born in 1823 in Pennsylvania
or Kentucky. Their children were William, Bolen, Lucinda, Jasper Newton
and John Wesley Graham. Mr. and Mrs. Graham, John, William, Bolen and Lucinda
all died in Iowa. Elizabeth and Jasper came back to Ark. and the four brothers
left on horseback. John Wesley was born in Ark. John died of pneumonia;
he was building a mill on a river. I would appreciate any information!
My great aunt, daughter of John Wesley, said they lived in Plymouth, Iowa.
Was there a town by that name back then? Thank you!
