Chris,
Any directory listing or marriage for Laura
Strasser and Emiel A. Dammy 12/15/1873? She was the daughter of
Philomena Sachs and Jacob A. Strasser of Davenport IA. Philomena died
February 1873, apparently after the birth
of a child who died May 31, 1873. At the
time of her death, Appolonia 21, Laura 18, Jenny 8, Jacob 6 and Francis
3 were
the surviving children of 12, some of whom died in 1865 of diphtheria.
Oakdale
Memorial does not have burial records on
Philomena so maybe she was buried or
cremated in another place in the city.
Jacob and the children are found in Oakdale. I have pictures I took
recently.
MERRY CHRISTMAS from frosty Illinois.
