March 8, 1925

Mrs. Henrietta Gosch, 1616 1/2 West Fourth Street, Davenport, died at 6:15
o'clock last evening at Mercy Hospital. Her death terminated, an illness
of six months duration.
The decedent was born in Henn-stedt-By-Heide, Holstein, Germany, on May
11, 1861 and came to this country and direct to Scott County in 1888. On
April 10 of the same year she was married to John H. Gosch at Davenport,
he preceding her in death on September 3, 1924. She is survived by five
daughters, Mrs. Chris Christiansen, Mrs. Max Sachau, Mrs. Ernest Workman,
Mrs. Sam Marty and Miss Emma Gosch and two grandchildren, Marguerite and
Ambrose Doyle, all of Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Runge
chapel. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
