Funeral services for Anthony Klouda, aged resident of Davenport whose death
occurred Friday afternoon, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the family
home 910 Tremont avenue and at 9 at Sacred Hearth cathedral. Burial will
be in Holy Family cemetery. The Holy Name society of Sacred Heart cathedral
will recite the rosary at the home at 7:30 o'clock tonight.
Mr. Klouda, who was 87 years, was preceded in death by his wife, July 10,
1921. They had been married at St. Joseph's church by the late Msgr. Anton
Niermann, Oct. 19. 1868. Mrs. Klouda's maiden name was Miss Anna Trelecek.
A son, Charles, died July 1, 1922.

Funeral services for Anthony Klouda were held at 8:30 o'clock this morning
at the home, 910 Tremont avenue, and at 9 at Sacred Heart cathedral where
a solemn requiem high mass was celebrated. The Rev. C. P. Madsen was the
celebrant, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. W. P. Shanahan was deacon, and the Rev. T.
L. Coonan was sub-deacon. Father Madsen pronounced the burial absolution.
Msgr. Shanahan preached the funeral sermon, and Father Coonan officated
at the grave in Holy Family cemetery.
The bearers, gandsons of Mr. Klouda, were Harry Peto, Joseph Klouda, Herbert
Miller, Sardius Gould, Richard Worthmann and Theodore Teegan.
