In 1993 I purchased an old Regulator Clock from a Ms.
COOK. She gave me some history on the clock and said it
was a wedding gift to a young couple that married in
McGreggor, IA. The young couple were ? COOK and ? YOCUM.
This was around 1888.
According to the history she gave me, the COOKs had a
hardwood millwright shop at their home in Bettendorf
along the Mississippi River and supplied the trim and
windows for the great houses, and also to the riverboats
along the river.
I would like to learn more about the clock and who the
young married couple were.
Any help would be appreciated.
