Debbie,

Judging from the material I have seen posted I suggest that you RUN,
don't walk, to the nearest place you can purchase a CD writer and
that you IMMEDIATELY make backups of your genealogy files BEFORE you
take any chance of losing them..

Since I lost everything in a forest fire in 2000 I make monthly
backups on CD and place one in my bank!!

(If your computers are Macintosh you can network the old and new
together and transfer directly. Maybe you can do that with a PC
also?)
