This is very strange ... I did a check of the 1910 census & found a Laura
Stoner, aged 30, single, born in Iowa living in Battle Creek, MI.

She was listed as a "Lodger" at a Sanitarium. Her occupation was that of
Physician. ????? The D'port Democrat states she had been employed in a D'port
hospital, but do you think a Dr. would become a prostitute?

It would be interesting to learn more about Laura Stoner.
