The funeral of Mrs. Mary Manion was held from the residence of her daughter,
Mrs. Mary Winters, 431 East Third street, this morning with services at St.
Anthony’s church at 9 o’clock. Rev. D. J. Flannery celebrated requiem high
mass and pronounced the absolution ceremony. He also delivered the funeral
sermon. There was a large attendance of old friends and many flowers were sent
to adorn her last resting place. The pallbearers were John Buckley, John
Carlin, Adam Grinn, Henry Kay, and Ted McGuire. Burial was made in St. Marguerite’s
cemetery.
