You can order the 1854 film for viewing at your local LDS Family History
Center. FHL film 1022207 contains Linn thru Winneshiek counties. It is not
indexed and names head of household only. The 1856 might also be of interest
to you. It is the first state census to provide given names for all
household members and also includes how long each individual has been in
Iowa. That film can be ordered from LDS also. The 1856 index for Scott co.
is on-line at "Joined By A River", the Quad Cities memory project. Dick
