I am looking for information on the descendants or ancestry of Dr. Will F. Hunt, a prominent physician in Davenport, IA. He was married about 1900 to a Julia B. (last name unknown). They may have had one daughter named Rosemary born abt. 1910, however it is unclear if Rosemary was a natural child or adopted.

I have gleened all I could from census records, but believe Dr. Hunt may have descended from Peter Hunt - Rev. War soldier (1757-1836) & Hannah Benson of Delaware Co. NY. A letter from Dr. Hunt exists in the Peter Hunt Rev. War pension file. This letter leads me to believe he may have been seeking information to entitle him to join SAR.

Any information on this man or his family would be greatly appreciated.
