Hey Bob, Strictly speculation but if you can accept the fact that errors
occur in census records, here is what I found in 1870 (on Heritage Quest).
All born S/Holstein, Hans 35, Mary 32, BRAMM. Kidz Martha 13, Hans 11, Anna
10, George 9. (which census is correct for 1870/1880 ages for Hans & Mary?
Is 1870 Mary the 1880 Anna M? Is young George actually Jurgon/Jurgen?. This
is on pg 380 in Spring Creek twp. in Tama co.By 1895 Jurgen may have
boogied west possibly to Liberty twp, O/Brien co. with his blushing bride
Anna M. and knee-bouncer Jno H.J. Indexed as Jargan Brumma. Dick
