Have you checked in Monroe county New York? There is information online with
city of Rochester, located in New York state. Ruth J. Thompson
I posted in Scott Co as family lore says they lived either there or Monroe
Co in 1860. I'm taking a shot to see which. I cannot find them in an 1850
census even though I have listed that daughter Mary Ann was born in Schenectady,
NY in 1841 and son James was baptised in 1851 in Schenectady. I have had some
people search with no luck.
