In a box of old ARMITAGE family photos was a great mystery. There is
just one photo of a man by a photograher
L. Eckerson in Creston, Iowa. I don't know the man but his picture is
enough like the others that he must be a relation. Another problem for
me is that I have no knowledge of our family being in Iowa. My ARMITAGE
line came from Ireland to Seneca County in central NY. They were a
farming family and ran a rest stop for stage coaches. If you know
anything of ARMITAGE families in Iowa or can help with the photo I would
love to hear from you.
