Hi, anyone on the Vanburen County list ever need to look up information, about towns in Iowa that their ancestors may have lived in, but the town is now gone. like where the town was located or when it was there, Find the names and locations of old towns that have moved or otherwise just disappeared. Check out this site www.iowaghosttowns.com
It lists towns that have disappeared. The towns etc. are listed there as "Ghost Towns" which are towns that have disappeared or almost gone.
