My 4g grandfather, Maxfield Hunter, was reportedly born in Georgia, circa
1800. He married Jane "Jincy" Allen (she was born circa 1799 in KY) in Greene
Co, IL on 28 March 1826. They had at least four children: Anderson (1830),
Erastus (1832), Mary (1836) and Elizabeth (1838). The family came to Wapello
County, IA before 1850.
I'm looking for any descendants of this family to trade info with, or any
information on Maxfield's birth or death. Many thanks!
