MESSAGE: (#12822) John Morley Mael

Surnames: MAEL,MOORE
Looking for any relatives or connections to John Morley Mael (b. 1814 in
Virginia, d. 1891 in Wapello County, Iowa). He married Elizabeth Moore 1842 in
Jefferson County, Iowa. He apparently stopped along the way from Virginia to
Iowa as he had land patents in Noble County, Indiana in 1837 and 1838.
According to family lore some of his relatives went onto Washington and Oregon
in the 1800's.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm beginning to think John Mael was a pod
person who appeared on earth with no parents! Thank you in advance!
