David Luther MARTIN was born ca 1831 in Indiana and died about 1870 in
Wapello County, Iowa. He came to Wapello County from Putnam County, Indiana
with his parents James and Rachel MARTIN. David married Sarah A. EVANS in
Wapello County in 1848. They had children:
Rhoda Jane
James Martin
Rachel E.
Perry Thomas
Dora Ellen

Sarah A. EVANS was born ca 1831 in Indiana and died after June 1, 1900. Per
the 1900 census, Sarah's father was born in Kentucky and her mother was born
in North Carolina. Who were Sarah's parents?

I suspect that Sarah's EVANS family was somehow connected to the William T.
and Polly/Mary THOMPSON who arrived in Iowa by 1847 and were long-time
residents of Wapello County. William was born ca 1820 in Tennessee and died
about 1887; Mary was born about 1822 in Indiana and died after 1887.

I would like very much to connect with descendants or researchers of these
families.
