Donna: I found a 1930 census of Jasper in Poweshiek, IA that lists him as
being born in Illinois, but his parents were from Ohio. It shows his age as 81
that would have put him born in 1849, but I know you can't trust ages in
census. Do you have a wife for Jasper, I know her first name was Elizabeth.
I'm afraid the more I check on Jasper, the more confused I get.
