MONTPELIER — Blythe Bird Orr, 90, passed away in the Bear Lake Skilled Nursing Facility in Montpelier on Thursday, April 25, 2002. She was the seventh child born to John H. and Ettie R. Nate Bird, and she was born January 29, 1912, in Paris, Idaho. She received her elementary education and graduated from the Fielding High School in Paris.

On June 19, 1937, she married Alfred H. Orr in Butte, Montana.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Blythe is survived by two brothers, Weyn (Leona) Bird of Paris, Floyd (LaRee) of Montpelier; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, at noon in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call that morning from 11 until 11:45 a.m., and burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
