LAYTON - Velma Innes Aegerter, 81, passed away Thursday Sept. 5, 2002. Velma was born Aug. 15, 1931 in Montpelier, ID to Steven Wilkes and Blanch Bird Innes Bateman. She married John Herman Aegerter Nov 10, 1942 in the Logan LDS Temple. Velma was a member of the LDS Church. She worked for the Shupe-Williams Candy Company and IRS. Velma loved her family and spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and sisters. She was a willing listener who found good in life, despite its difficulties. Velma is survived by two daughters and one son, Linda (Dennis) Trotta, Ogden, Susan Aegerter, Layton, Fred (Deb) Aegerter, Layton; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Verdena (Rowan) Wade, Layton. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and six sisters. Services will be Tues. 11 a.m., Washington Blvd, Mon. 6-8 p.m. and Tues. at the church 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Email con!
