PRESTON - Vickie Allyn Nelson Kent, 48, died Friday, May 9, 2003 in Preston, ID. She was born June 12, 1954 in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Earl Calvin and Gloria Rigby Nelson. She married Phillip Clair Kent May 10, 1974 in the Logan LDS temple. She served in the Primary as president, young women's cub leader and as a visiting teacher. She loved her family and cared about everyone. She loved her Heavenly Father, whom she is with now.

She is survived by her husband of Richfield; seven sons and four daughters, Callan (Amber) Kent, Smithfield, UT; Matthew (Becky) Kent, Forest Grove, OR; Craig, Rexburg, ID; Mindy (Brian) Cheney, Buhl, ID; Vallyn, Angela, Levi, Jordan, Gloria, Richfield, ID; Quinton, LDS mission Paraguay; three grandchildren; parents, of Montpelier, ID; brothers and sisters, Earl Kurtis (Lenna) Nelson, Winder; Becky Jo (David) Cox, Preston, ID; Randall Val (Jami) Nelson, Mesa, AZ; Suzanne Marie (Kipp) Norman, Preston, ID; Jeffrey R. (Terry), Preston, ID; Michael Ray (Dorothy) Nelson, Bancroft; Daniel James (Carissa) Nelson, Columbus, Indiana; Melissa Jane (Pernell) Cleverly, Bancroft, ID.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the Richfield, ID ward chapel. Friends may call at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, ID Monday from 6-8 p.m. and at the Richfield ward chapel Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield Cemetery.
