Beatrice "Bea" Christina Bowcutt Hansen, age 81, passed away on March 24, 2004 after suffering a sudden stroke. She was born in Montpelier, Idaho to Albert Edwin and Beatrice Sophia Bowcutt. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Green River, Wyoming in 1940. She married Thomas E. Phillips on August 21, 1943 in Pensacola, FL. They later divorced. In 1959 she married Maynard Mangum and later divorced. On July 5, 1969 she married Budd L. Hansen who preceded her in death in 1980. Bea was a friend to all, full of fun and life. She will be remembered and missed for her sense of humor and all the creativity and energy she contributed to her work, family gatherings and group activities. Bea worked for many years as a bookkeeper and secretary for Sundries Supply Co. and Seagull Sales in Salt Lake City. She was always an active lady and after her retirement she took part in the Association of Widowed People, Senior Friends (St. Mark's Chapter ), and the Prime Timers aerobic grou!
p. Her family would like to thank her many, many dear friends and neighbors for being such a wonderful part of her life. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Bea enjoyed portrait painting, home decorating, sewing and traveling in her motor home with her beloved partner, Doss Dean. Survived by Doss A. Dean, her loving companion of nearly 25 years, daughters Kristy (Ronald) Fedrick of Petaluma, CA; Michael (John) Couch of Vian, OK; son Dennis (Cindy) Dean of Huntington Beach, CA; sister Lois Kramer of St. George, UT; nephew Paul (Doris) Kramer of Heikendorf, Germany and their son, Hasko. She is also survived by grandchildren Tonya Johnson, Jaime Johnson, Cassandra Fedrick, Trisha (Richard) Young, Tammy Fedrick and Ron Fedrick, Jr. of Petaluma, CA; and Derek (Jeanie) Johnson of Odenton, MD. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Budd, brother Irving, brother-in-law Donald Kramer, son Mark Dean. Funeral se!

awn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr. where friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a favorite charity.
