Mildred Elvera Dean Jacobson, 88, died Jan. 3, 2005 in Ogden, UT. Born July 22, 1916 in Woodruff, Utah to John Arthur and Elvera (Olend) Dean. Married Mynard Achel Jacobson on March 13, 1937 in Randolph, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.
She was active in the LDS Church, served in many callings and especially loved her Guide Patrol boys. Mildred enjoyed music, sang at weddings, funerals, and in the ward choir. She loved her role as wife and mother, and delighted in cooking for her family and friends.
Survivors include: children; Dean (Elizabeth) of Rexburg, ID; Larry (Marilyn) of North Ogden, UT; Ross (Kaye) of Nibley, UT; Kib (Leisa) and Cheryl (Calvin) Richards, of Kaysville, UT; 35 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; brother, Grant (Donnella) Dean, of Woodruff, UT; half brother, Arlo Dean, Lyman, WY; half sister, Rose (Bruce) Groll, Fortuna, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mynard; son, Dennis; daughter-in-law, Diana; grandchildren, Kent and Madison; parents; brothers, Lyndon and Carl. A special thanks to Manor Care & Vista Care in Ogden, Ut. for their attentive service. Funeral service will be on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Randolph LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Crandall Funeral Home, Evanston, WY on Friday evening, January 7, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
