OGDEN - Loren Tueller Schoss, 85, died Thursday, March 24, 2005 of pneumonia and aortic stenosis. He was born March 10, 1919 in Geneva, Idaho to Fred W. Schoss and Viola R. Tueller. His mother died a month after his birth and he was raised by his father and stepmother, Rose. He was reared and educated in Ogden. On April 9, 1940, He married Eldora Glee Pence. They were later divorced. He married Delone F. Mohr on May 31, 1968 in Logan, Utah. He was a member of the LDS Church.
He served during WWII in the Army Ordinance Corp in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a licensed electrician and was associated with Schoss Electric Company. He had an electrical and feed business in Overton, Nevada. He worked for the Lake Crystal Salt Company, Ogden Ford Sales, Univac and Cutter Lab.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Delarel, Vern, and Ferrin. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Donna Hall and three step-children, Gerald (Sandi) Mohr, Janice (Gary) High and Ke ith (Tammie) Mohr. He has ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie Carey, JoAn (Edward) Poll. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden.
