Raymond Charles Lowe, age 71, passed away May 11, 2005 in Montpelier, ID, surrounded by his family. Ray was born Sept.16, 1933 in New York City, NY to Sam Serio and Dorothy Walsh. Married Reah Allen in 1952; later divorced. Married Veronica Godek Aug. 19, 1968. He worked in the beer distribution business in Salt Lake City, UT until he purchased the Canyon Inn in Salt Canyon, Wyoming in 1972. Ray was respected and beloved by many. A man of principle, he lived life honorably and on his own terms. He enjoyed the outdoors and the company of family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica; son, Mark (Julie) Lowe, daughter, San-dra (Blaine) Holt, both of So. Jordan, UT; stepchildren, Donald Hulsizer, West Valley City, UT, LouAnn (John) Vandomburg, Salt Lake City, UT, Michelle (R.T.) Lapp, and John Martin, both of Wyoming. He is grandfather to 19 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; and stepdaughter, Paula Thuline. Family and friends are invited to attend a wake, which will be held in celebration of Ray's life Saturday, May 28th from 3-7 p.m. at the Canyon Inn, Hwy 89, Salt Canyon, WY.
