I went back to the familysearch.org site and searched again in a different manner and came up with the following:

Jacob b. 1804 was Samuel's father and Catharina Jaussi, b.1806 was his mother.

Jacob's, b. 1804, father was Hans Jr., b. 1772 and Jacob's mother was Nuena Dysli Wynigen, b. 1771.

Hans Jr, b. 1772, father was Hans Sr., b. abt 1740 and mothers name was unknown.

Can anyone keep this chain going?
