Allen Shields, 66, Rt 1 Post Falls died Saturday in Kootenai Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born August 2, 1906 in Pleasant Hill, MO and came here in 1948 from Spokane.

Mr. Shields was a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Florence, at home; a sister, Edna Lawton, MO and two brothers, Glenn Shields, Green Acres, WA and E L Shields, Fort Worth, TX.

Funeral Services are pending at English Funeral Chapel.

I also noticed per my transcriptions he is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery located in Post Falls.
