I am researching the Mainzer family. My great-grandfather Peter Mainzer settled in Sandpoint, ID to do silver mining. He was owner of the Opportunity Mining Company until his death in 1935. Upon researching, I found relatives in MN that have info on Nicklaus as well. In order to complete the puzzle of this family, I am looking for the family of Nicklaus Mainzer, he settled in Payette anywhere from 1900 to 1915. He had four children, Zina, Catherine, Billy and Martha. Peter Mainzer (my great-grandfather) was married, but he abandoned his wife and two young children for the silver mines. After my great-grandmother re-married and moved to Washiington, Peter spent notable time visiting with his brother Nicklaus' family. One person in particular I am searching for is a lady named CAROL PARKER who is one of his descendents, I had contact with her prior to this, but cannot find her now. Please email me, if anyone can help. Thanks, Elizabeth Hoppe
