King's Body Not Recovered

Not withstanding the efforts of from 30 to 50 men, who worked faithfully for four or five days, dragging nearly every foot of the river for a considerable distance below the ford where Walter King was drowned, the body has not been found. Wire fences have been placed across the stream at two places and it is thought that by this means the body will be secured later. Tomorrow is the ninth day since Young King was drowned and it will be well to keep a close watch of the river for a few days longer.

Will R. King, city treasurer of Grand Island, Neb., a brother of the late Walter King, arrived Wednesday morning.
