Mrs. Ida May Wells Dies At Payette, Services Saturday

Funeral services were Saturday for Mrs. Ida May Wells, 86, a longtime Payette resident who died at her home Thursday night after a long illness.

Mrs. Wells and her husband, the late B. L. Wells, lived in Payette county from 1899 until his death in 1934. Mrs. Wells had continued to live here since that time.

She was a member of the Christian church.

Mrs. Wells was born Dec. 26, 1866 at Wheatland, Iowa. She and Mr. Wells moved into this county from Schaller, Iowa.

Survivors include one son, Fay Wells of Payette; a sister, Miss Lillian Spottswood, Payette; one brother, E. B. Spottswood, Caldwell; and four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Shaffer Memory Chapel in Payette with the Rev. Earl Saladen officiating. Interment followed at Riverside cemetery.
