HI All -

Molly Kennedy here - -"Mollx" - former RAOGK volunteer (that acronym's for
YOU, Dave!) -and now fulltimel researcher. I live & do most of my research
in/around the Springfield (IL) area.

My father's ancestral lines didn't make it to Chicagoland; Shive/Scheib from
Germany 1742; Pope, Kennedy & Modlin all probably from
Wales/Scotland/Ireland/England, during the mid-1700's.

All 4 of my mother's grandparents were born in Ireland:
Harrington/Sullivan/Kelley/Kaobaugh/Caobach from Allihies Parish, Beara
Peninsula, Co Cork;
Lynch from ?? - probably Co Cork (she's my brick wall, also posted on my
website);
O'Donnell (married Lynch 1st) from Kilkenny 1852 - fled Ireland to Chicago
1874 to escape being forced into the priesthood; while in Chicago, Andrew
O'Donnell worked for, then with, the Armour brothers - both in the
meat-industry and in real-estate developments.
