Can you also send ME a copy of the original article? I need to pursue some family lore regarding a boarding house; that name is sooo close to Laferrier/LaFaire, especially with the way people spelled in those days.

continued boarding there after she found other employment.
She had come to the US about a year earlier, and first
went to Burlington IA where she had relatives, then
moved to Chicago. She had a sister, Mattie Smith.
