"Central Plant" -- which was the term used for burials/cremations on hospital grounds (or sometimes the remains, if the body was used for medical school training).

Most of the deceased's remains that were relegated to "Central Plant" had been unclaimed for at least a few days. (either due to no way to contact surviving kin, or if surviving family members could not afford the burial expenses to bury the remains in a family cemetery/plot.
