Hi Doug,

Mary gave you the url for Dan Niemic's site which is fabulous. You will need a street address for that to be at its best. Footnote gives a free trial and has Chicago directories for that time period.

Ancestry.com has ward descriptions including boundaries for the 1860 census. To get to those you need to browse the 1860 census for Illinois, Cook, Chicago, Ward 6. Ancestry also has free trials.

I'm very sorry I don't currently have subscriptions for the above, but maybe some other lister can be of additional assistance if you provide more specific info re surname, given name.
