i have seen very favorable comments about this site
AND even posts from a library employee regarding new additions...

they have not only census but other data bases and are growing....

perhaps this will a better avenue for those that do not want to join Anc or hQ for whatever reasons...

I have read that within minutes of processing your application, you are on your way to researching.....

i have not heard a single negative comment. Everything has been positive...

The Godfrey Memorial Library now has the 1860 US Census Index and
Images available online. You need a Godfrey Library card ($35) to
access their online collections. You can use them from home, or any
computer with internet access.

US Census: Indexes: 1790 to 1820, 1860, 1870, 1890, 1910, and 15+
states for 1920
US Census images: 1790 to 1890; 1910 to 1930
