Helen M. Pingel

Helen M. Pingel of Arlington Heights Funeral services for Helen M. Pingel (nee Moehling), 83, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine, where she will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. She died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at the Lutheran Home for the Aged. Interment will take place in Randhill Park Cemetery, Palatine. Mrs. Pingel and her late husband, Raymond farmed and owned Pingel Vegetables Stand on Algonquin Road for many years. She volunteered at Northwest Community Hospital for more than 27 years putting in more than 10,000 hours of service and also volunteered at the Lutheran Home with more than 1000 hours of service. Helen is survived by her children, Wayne (Donna), Linda R. (Joe) Manning, Dale R. and Kevin S. (Yvonne) Pingel; grandchildren, Allison and Sabrina Pingel, and David, Jessie, Anna and Stephanie Manning; and brothers, Barney and Harold (Lorraine) Moehling. Visitation will be from !
2 to 7 p.m. today, at the Lutheran Home for the Aged, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Home. Arrangements were made by Meadows Funeral Home, Rolling Meadows.
