died 08 April, 1944 in
Schaumburg, Cook, IL. He married Alvina Mummie 05 November, 1896 in
Schaumburg, Cook, IL.

Herman Panzer
Herman Panzer was born September 29, 1863 in Pommern, Germany, was
baptized, received his education
and was confirmed in Germany, and as a young man came to make his home in
the United States. Upon his
arrival in this country he lived for a short time in Chicago, then Park
Ridge.
November 5, 1896, he was united in marriage to Miss Alvina Mumme by Rev.
Mueller at the Schaumburg
Ev. Lutheran Church. After marriage this couple made their home on their
farm in Elk Grove township and
for the past 12 years in Schaumburg Center.
Mr. Panzer passed away Saturday evening, April 8, at the age of 80 years,
6 months and 9 days. Four
children were of this union of which two preceded their father in death;
Ella Gehrke at the age of 29 years
and Herbert at the age of 23 years; Mr. Panzer leaves to mourn his
departure his loving wife, Alvina, and
two sons, Henry and Martin; 1 daughter-in-law and 1 son-in-law and 4
grandchildren, 3 brothers: Ferdinand
of Schaumburg; Albert of St. James, Minn.; Rudolph of Forest Park, IL.; 1
sister, Mrs. Martha Rohr of
Steger, IL.
Funeral services were held from his residence at Schaumburg, April 12 to
Schaumburg Lutheran Church.
Interment, Schaumburg Lutheran Cemetery.
H. Panzer name found on the Hixson Map of 1941. H. Panzer owned 70 acres
in Elk Grove Township -
50.73 acres in the southern portion of section 30 and 19.73 contiguous
acres in the northern portion of

Alvina Panzer
Services for Mrs. Alvina Panzer, 81, of Schaumburg were held Tuesday at
St. Peter Church, Rev. E. A.
Hertwig officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Richert and Son
Roselle Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Panzer died in her home Friday night. She had lived in Schaumburg
27 years and was a lifetime
resident of the area.
She is survived by two sons, Henry F. of Roselle and Martin of
Schaumburg; four grandchildren, one great
granchild and several nieces and nephews.
Children of Herman Panzer and Alvina Mummie are:

MARTIN PANZER - Services for Martin Panzer, 84, of Schaumburg will be at 1
p.m., Saturday at
St. Peter Lutheran Church, 208 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg.
Visitation will be noon to time of service at the church. Burial will be
in St. Peter Cemetery,
Schaumburg.
He died Wednesday at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights.
He was employed as a yardhand at Addison Building and Supply for 19
years. He was a retired
farmhand.
Survivors include nephews Arnold Gehrke, Erwin and Leonard; neice Dorothy
Grimm, and
sister-in-law Hulda Panzer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Ahlgrim and sons Funeral
Home, 330 W. Golf Road,
Schaumburg. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church,
Schaumburg.
