Omar W. Leap of Hoffman Estates Services for Omar W. Leap, 68, will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 208 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg. Born Aug. 9, 1934, he died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003. Burial will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Schaumburg. A decorated veteran, Mr. Leap had served in the Air Force with the rank of major. During his career he worked as a pilot for United Airline for many years. He was a member of the Cary Grove Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Sheila Leap (nee Mackay); children, Heather and Lars, Daidra and Tim, and Alison and John; and grandchildren, Christopher, Thomas, Deborah and Nicolas.
