Howard J. Freise
Kingston - Howard J. Freise, 79, of Kingston, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at his home.
He was born July 15, 1924, in Schaumburg, to John and Else (Huenerberg) Freise.
He married Lois Glade on Oct. 2, 1948 in Palatine.
He was a graduate of Palatine High School in the class of 1942.
He was a farmer in Schaumburg.
In 1966, he and his wife moved to Genoa, where he farmed until his retirement.
Mr. Freise enjoyed fishing and golfing.
He and his wife enjoyed traveling, and they had traveled to many states and countries.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa,
and the DeKalb County Farm Bureau,
and was active in the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service when he lived in Schaumburg.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years of Kingston, two sons, Wayne (Christine) Freise and David (Donna) Freise, both of Genoa; two daughters, Sharon (Jim) Sabin and Sandra (Jerry) Tewksbury, both of Genoa; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Jens) Hauch, Julia (Rick) Buchli, Kevin Kyle, Elizabeth and Gretchen Freise, Jamie and Tanner Sabin, and Joline and John Tewksbury; and a great-grandson, Henry Hauch.

The visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 5, at the Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Genoa.
The Rev. E. Timothy Frick will officiate. Burial will be in North Kingston Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society, or St. Anthony's Hospice in care of Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, IL 60135.
