Nowell and Janet Fiene of Johnsburg will celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary with a trip to Las Vegas with their children to attend the
NASCAR race.

Janet Davis and Nowell "Butch" Fiene were married February 16, 1957 at
St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Schaumburg.

They first lived in Schaumburg until 1990.

Nowell was associated with Fiene Grain Service in Schaumburg until 1965,
then he was part owner and vice president of Schaumburg Transportation
Co. Inc.

He retired in September 1990. He is a member of the Illinois School Bus
Association.

She was a school bus driver for 18 years and is also a homemaker.

They enjoy NASCAR racing, boating and going to casinos.

They have a son, Dwayne (Michelle) Fiene of Tallahassee, FL and a
daughter, Cheryl (the late Tim) Fleming of Johnsburg.

They also have five grandchildren, Kelly (Jason) Schmitt; Kristy
Fleming; Shannon, Brett and Samantha Fiene and one great-grandchild,
John Timothy "J.T." Schmitt.
