Hello Walter,

Yes it is a bit expensive, but a gold mine for some whose ancestors settled
in the area. I could not find any listing for Alexander ALLEN or Jefferson
MARTIN,

However I found the following for John H. PARKER:

History of Alexander County section, page 489

"The eastern part of the precinct has all been settled in the past ten
years, but in the western parts settlements were made much earlier. Among
the settlers of the latter were Henry Nelson, who came to the neighborhood
in 1830 and lived here until his death in 1850; William POWLES, moved in
from Mill Creek; Jeremiah DUNNING, William HENLEN, John H. PARKER and others
settled early in this section."
