I'm looking for Alva Goodman, born in Alexander Co. to Rachel Robbs and
James Goodman. Alva was in the 1880 census as a three year old. Her mother
would have been only 17 when she was born as she was 10 in the 1860 census.
Rachel died at 24, so James probably remarried.
Does anyone have access to birth or death records for the county.
