Subject: [ILBOND-L] Mulberry Grove Cemetery

Greetings Fellow Listers,
My husband and I just returned from a trip to Illinois to visit family
members. On our way westward from North Carolina, we stopped in southern
Illinois so my husband could visit the town of his birth (Mulberry
Grove). Happily, we were able to locate his grandfather's home where my
husband lived the first few years of his life (back in the '30s). We
went to the Mulberry Grove Cemetery to look for gravestones. Did find
his great-grandmother, Martha Ann Shoptaw, but her gravestone was ready
to fall off the hillside into the depression below. Can anyone tell me
who to contact at the Mulberry Grove Cemetery who will prop up her
gravestone to keep it from falling? We didn't see any sort of office
building or caretaker's site on the cemetery grounds. Thanks for any
help you can send our way.
