My line is also off of Clarissa & Isaac, from their son James Johnson (my
grgrgrandfather) his son James Edward & Mary Coin were parents of my mothers
father Howard Schubert Gum (him & my grandmother were divorced when my mother
was about 5 yrs old)
In a old scrap book I have there are 2 wedding announcements I noticed, if you
can fit these in to the Davenport line let me know and I'll send you the info.,
the 1st is of a Mr Tip Davenport m. Miss Kate Edwards & the other Mr D. M. (Dan)
Compton marring Miss Frances I. Davenport (daughter of Peter L. Davenport) If
you can place these it would help me also. Since most of my Gum history is from
"Leaves of the Gum Tree" which I have a hard time following, from the way it is
written.
Let me know if you want these articles.
Thanks Terry
